Flying Car Skyport Condos Coming Soon
Swimming pool? Check. Tennis courts. Check. Boxing ring. Check. Workout gym. Check. Pilates studio. Check.
When it comes to luxury living, it’s all about the amenities, right? And for today’s high-end homebuyers with an eye on tomorrow, Paramount Miami Worldcenter completes the picture with your own skyport to land your VTOL on the rooftop of your luxury condominium.
Daniel Kodsi, the developer of Paramount Miami Worldcenter, told Architectural Digest the decision to include a skyport landing pad for flying cars was made after reviewing what homebuyers will be interested in having as part of their living arrangements 15-20 years from now and beyond.
What Kodsi’s review found was the large number of companies, including Boeing, Airbus, and Uber, focused on building flying cars. So focused, that they would clearly be reality in a matter of a few years. George Jetson would be proud.
As you approach the pool atop the 60 story Worldcenter, the flooring of the pool will rise up to convert it to a landing pad for your VTOL. From there, an elevator will whisk you to your apartment’s floor and home.
Kodsi even consulted with Bell Helicopters to understand the needs to support landing VTOLs. Part of a retail-, restaurant-, and entertainment-rich complex, the Worldcenter will cover 10 city blocks making it the second-largest development project in the U.S. currently.
So, soon, when you say, “Home, Jeeves,” your pad will even include a skypad for your flying car. Ready or not, the future is here.
