Declaring “Never a day Without Data,” the U.S. Space Force published its Data & Artificial Intelligence Strategic Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2025.
The Space Force explained it needs to emphasize AI literacy to employ these tools to solve operational challenges. The plan lays out four key objectives for the agency.
  • Mature enterprise-wide data and AI governance.
Establish and maintain a governance program to evolve structures, policies, and procedures
  • Advance a data-driven and AI-enabled culture.
Increase awareness of data, analytics, and AI capabilities
  • Rapidly adopt data, advanced analytics, and AI technologies
Identify requirements for end-to-end data management for the collection and acquisition of            all data, to enable and reduce the time of data flow from collection to actionable insight.
  • Strengthen government, industry, academic, and international partnerships
Establish strategic alliances with the most data and AI-capable organizations.
